The 3M™ Weatherban™ Ribbon Sealant PF 5422 is a thread reinforced preformed butyl rubber sealant tape. It offers a watertight, gasket-like seal around window and door frames and glass bedding applications. This sealant can also act as a metal seam sealer in overlap seams, building panels, rain gutters, and can be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners.The 3M Weatherban Ribbon Sealant PF 5422 provides weather resistant adhesion to glass, metal, and many other non porous surfaces. It offers a watertight, gasket-like seal in many applications such as bedding glass, around window and door frames, etc. It also can be used as a metal seam sealer in overlap seams, building panels, rain gutters, and can be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners. It offers outstanding resistance to weathering, and develops good adhesion to glass, metal, and most other surfaces.
