Seamless and vinyl insulated, the 3M™ Scotchlok™ Butt Connector is used to connect two single wires making an in-line splice. Its chamfered barrel ends provide fast easy wire insertion from both ends, and a built in wire stop ensures correct positioning. It must be crimped prior to applying heat to shrink the insulation. This vinyl insulated connector can withstand a maximum temperature of 221 degrees Fahrenheit (105 degrees Celsius). Electrolytic copper construction offers good conductivity and a tin-plated finish resists corrosion. 3M™ Scotchlok™ Butt Connectors are UL Recognized, CSA certified, and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.3M Scotchlok Butt Connector is colour-coded for quick and easy identification of the wire size required.
