The 3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pad is crafted from durable rubber and is designed to hold 3M™ Finesse-it™ Sanding or Finishing Discs with pressure-sensitive adhesive. 3M™ Sanding Pads are available in three different sizes to accommodate 1-1/4 in (3.18 cm) or 1-3/8 in (3.49 cm) discs.The 3M Finesse-it Hand Sanding Pads are designed with a red, durable, firm body for easy visibility and a comfortable grip. The material allows adhesive to hold well and release with minimal residue. The 3M Sanding pads are available in three different sizes to accommodate 1-1/4 in (3.18 cm) or 1-3/8 in (3.49 cm) discs. The smaller pad is ideal for working small defects and accessing hard to reach areas, while the larger pad features a contoured handle for easy gripping on larger projects. The red end on the sanding block is firm, for effective defect leveling. The black end, with a soft vinyl face, can be used to produce a finer finish. 3M Finesse-it products are a line of specially engineered abrasives, compounds, polishes, and buffing pads to be used on OEM and fully cured paints and coatings to remove defects, sand scratches, or swirl marks on a variety of painted surfaces. 3M Finesse-it products are an integral part of a 3M-recommended buffing system for repairing surface defects to clear coats, lacquered wood, solid surfaces, gelcoat, powder coat, industrial paint, acrylic, and glass.
