3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9447 is specifically designed for use with 3M™ Label Component Systems for protected graphics printing of polyester films. It can also be used in constructing custom tamper-indicating labels.This tape is mounted on a 55 lb (24.95 kg) densified kraft liner and performs well at elevated temperatures. The liner is a calliper controlled hard-liner for consistent base in rotary printing and die cutting applications. This tape is typically used to make tamper-indicating labels with label component system films and solutions. These labels may then be used as seals for over-the-counter drugs, banking envelopes, non-transferable automobile inspection labels and a variety of other applications. The tape is ideal for use in harsh environments such as automotive hood or outdoor environments. Excellent chemical resistance and high heat resistance allows this tape to perform in these environments.
